A TechFest is like an InstallFest?, but different.
A TechFest is a more focussed, topic-oriented session loosely structured like a class, where everyone brings their own computers to follow along and work the material at the same time as the discussion leader. Perfect if you need to ask a question as you're going along.
Others will hopefully make this definition a little better over time.
