We've tried to select the most important and most useful tasks with a goal of learning basic unix skills in context. *Technology Training Foundation of America Computer Donation Program provides public/private partnerships that help bridge the "digital divide" and create wider opportunities for underserved communities in our technological world.*

*The San Diego Futures Foundation (SDFF) was established in 1999 to help bring technology and technical services to San Diegans. SDFF's mission is to make information technology available to San Diego County residents through the delivery of computer hardware, software, communications, training, and education.*

To date, the Futures Foundation has donated more than 3,500 computers and provided over 8,000 hours of technical services to San Diego's nonprofits, community based organizations and schools.

What other resources are available?

*SDcommunities" is an innovative web portal designed and developed by the San Diego Futures Foundation to empower San Diegans to actively participate in their communities through dialog in interactive forums, through the sharing of community and civic information or through direct posting of community news and events.*

SDcommunities? provides citizens with valuable government, educational, nonprofit, and private sector resources located close to home and throughout the county, state and nation.
