Isn't that what a wiki is for?  Put it in your "my folder" if you don't want people to delete it.

No, the wiki is not here so that pages can be deleted by other users, or so that some users' content can be arbitrarily deleted by others.  Cooperation is the word to use here.  If people can't cooperate, we'll start enforcing access rights to the wiki.

I don't see that anything _got_ deleted.  Perhaps it just didn't quite make the transition from the old wiki.
