Tips for people doing presentations at KPLUG meetings
When you first make up your mind that you want to do a presentation at a KPLUG meeting, go into your personal folder (it's the link at the above that says **: my folder**) and create a new folder. Don't call it Presentation because you might want to do another presentation in the future, and then what would you call it presentation2? It's probably better to name the folder after the topic you want to speak about. If you want to present on subject Foo, then create a folder foo.
After you create the folder, the next screen that appears will have a link that says "create default document". This will be the index_html in that folder. Notice instead of a "." there's a "_". This is where I suggest you put your description of what your topic is about, sort of like your advertisement for the presentation.
Under that folder you can then create all the documents for your presentation. If you want to create them in html on your local machine and then upload them consider taking a look at [cadaver]. Once you get the hang of it, uploading your documents is as simple as ftp.
As time progresses and more people get experience with the site, I expect more will be written here.
Hope this helps.
Have a lot of fun....
