AmitChakradeo (''king'') is a constant lurker on the kplug mailing lists and #kernel-panic. He also tries to help people on the mailing lists. He is a telecom software engineer by profession. (worked for almost all big wireless telecom companies doing software development in San Diego!) He started using linux (Redhat 5.2, if you care) in 1998 just after he came to USA and since then has been hooked to various free unixes (or is it unices) including FreeBSD?, OpenBSD?. Debian being his latest and most favourite distribution. Recently he has been wooed to the world of BSDs.

each have their own advantages over linux, specially the ease of source upgrade and the feel of a complete system.
