Verizon EVDO PDA Phone and VOIP

Verizon EVDO PDA Phone and VOIP...??
I heard recently that you can get a Verizon PDA EVDO
phone (Trying to remember the brand..?? More research
info later.) A friend who has the service says that
you can get the EVDO data service only if you wish.
Now it might be interesting to see if you can make
VOIP calls with this phone. I did hear rumors that
Verizon was going to block VOIP calls, but I have not
heard any confirmation of this.
