Why Maildirs? (Was: Test message - please ignore)

Another big reason for why: SPEED! Look at what mbox has to do to delete
one email from the middle of an mbox compared to what maildir has to do.
Also look at what mbox has to do to find your new emails compared to
maildir. Huge difference in required disk I/O, especially on large
mailboxes.
