I am open to _any_ kind of diagnostic utility or procedure
that would help me verify that the hardware is in order, for
ranging from memory (cf memtest86), to thermal control.
the cards are almost high end. they are valuable to me
because of the linux drivers (matrox support is rather
poor these days) and each has two DVI ports. most of
my work is mundane compared to the capabilities of the
card and my use does not really tax the cards. glxinfo
and glxgears run fine. i am a bit dissapointed in the
speed of basic windowing. i thought that these 128mb
cards would allow seamless dragging and resizing of
windows, but repainting is generally noticeable.
Thanks in advance for any tips.
