The SCO layoffs

Everybody is pointing to this, but it's still noteworthy here:

The paragraph that had me alternatively laughing wildly and puking:

"Some observers had thought SCO was cutting its engineering staff in
response to financial backer BayStar Capital LLC's demands that SCO stop
working on Unix and other matters to focus its full attention on its
Linux litigation with IBM."

So that's what it's come to. Having nothing of any value to develop or
sell, SCO has been officially advised to sue people (who are making
stuff) for its living.

God I wish I'd had the money to short those people back when they were
at $13!
