How can I make the system more (much more) aggressively keep up with my keystrokes? Is there some process I can "nice -n -15" or somesuch? (I realize that what I really need is more RAM, but that is not an option at the moment.) I am finally fed up with the keyboard buffer catching up to me whenever it pleases (or not).
