Fry's has a Linksys VoIP router for $20 after rebate. It's set up for Vonage, I
guess, which is $25.
Is there a special hardware/firmware setup that requires that the router be
configured for the particular VoIP service it will be using? And, do local
Internet telephony service providers exist that could maybe offer it cheaper?
It'd be a neat thing to have, but, with my phone card at 3.5 cents a minute I
don't use $25 a month. So it wouldn't be cost efficient. Is there any other
rationality I could offer myself to buy a VoIP router?
