The only thing that comes to mind is general hopelessness.
Someone said they dreaded the day Linux does become "desktop friendly"
and I thought, "I don't" because I think Linux can do both the "desktop"
and the high configurability via distribution choices. Linux can make a
dumbed down version for the hopeless masses (who don't even know their
distress is due to hopelessness).
