Wade... all does not lie in man/info pages. Google quickly confirmed
my guess, discordian: one practicing dis-coordination with conventional
norms, not necessarily a result of LSD but probably. See links below.
The Principia Discordia discusses how the calender works.
Or you can find more info at
What is a Discordian?
"Discordian: A believer in the idea that God is a crazy woman. As evidence the Discordian points to all the chaos in the world. May be a religion disguised as a joke or vice versa." - Mike Gunderloy, FACTSHEET FIVE
"A Discordian is one who likes to wear Emperor Norton's old clothes." - L.A. Rollins, Lucifer's Lexicon
"It's hard to nail down Discordians - which figures, since they're dedicated to the sowing of Discord, generally of the mental kind. They don't damage the physical world much in worship of sexy ol' Eris, Goddess of Chaos. Discordians all work, I mean play, in their spare time, on Operation Mindfuck - an insidious yet disorganized attempt to tear down your old mental paradigms without offering anything with which to replace them. Techniques include everything from elaborate pranks, to...well, simple pranks. Sort of a Zen version of the Merry Pranksters." - Rev. Ivan Stang, High Weirdness by Mail
"What is the central truth behind Marxism-Lennonism*, Erisianism, Discordianism, Zen without Zen Masters? On this point, our leading atheologians are in agreement-and disagreement (as might be expected). Mal says, simply, "God is a crazy woman and Her name is Eris." Ho says more abstractly and less figuratively, "Hell is reserved exclusively for them that believe in it." Camden says concisely, "If we believe enough, there will be whatamores. Do we really want any?" Mordecai the Foul merely exclaims "Fnord!" and hits you with a stick if you ask again." - Robert Anton Wilson, forward to Zen without Zen Masters.
A Discordian is anyone willing to look at windmills and concede that they might be giants. - Holy Temple of the Sts. John
