I use amavis, it does want some older stuff for opening attachments
though.  I've made those available here: http://www.wolfenet.org/amavis
In both .deb and .rpm formats.  I've switched to amavisd which needs to
be started before you start your MTA, but it seems faster.   Next on the
list is sophie http://www.vanja.com/tools/sophie/
