DSL as fast as cable modem?

The speed compares quite favorably, especially when you consider that it
is a dedicated connection all your own. When I had SpeakEasy I had 1.5Mb/s
downstream and 384k up. I doubt I ever have more than that with cablemodem
even late at night. Other than that there is no noticeable difference.
