You may need to supply a dud user/pass if the share has none on it.
It's something like (IIRC):
# smbmount //wupiwupi/mp3 /mnt/mp3 -t smbfs -o user=none,pass=empty
-t smbfs may not be necessary. There may be other options required. I don't
have a working sample on hand.
