Strange machine behavior

When this happened: The cover was off, the fore and aft case
fans were running, the PC Power and Cooling Z1-H sink/fan was
running, and the bay cooler was running. The machine had been
on for about 2 minutes, and I was running MemTest86. Interestingly
enough, I seem to have memory problems with the 2nd socket on
the board, but only with 128M sticks. The machine had been running
for a long time with 2x64M sticks without problems. I'm beginning
to think motherboard.
