Mounting HPFS file systems

I have an old OS/2 machine and I'd like to recover the data
from the hard drive. The man page for mount says that I can
mount HPFS file systems - has anybody ever tried this? I
don't want to try installing ethernet support in the OS/2 box,
and it seems like the easiest way to get the data is just
pop the hard drive in a Linux box and mount everything up,
then just copy the data to the Linux filesystem.
