Digital EISA Configuration

I've got a Digital Priorus XL 590DP, and I'm having trouble configuring
it.

The thing has a single card in: an [E]ISA Digital DE205 Ethernet card.

Jumpers are set to 'EISA' mode. I've used the 'EZDIAG' tool from the
Etherworks III package to successfully play with the settings on the
card. EZDIAG detects the card and lets you play around with fairly in
depth settings, which it then stores somewhere, presumably on the network
card. Then you reboot and you're away. Theoretically.

The EISA Configuration Utility (ECU) I'm using is v1.12, which is "to be
used with BIOS v2.08".

Unfortunately, all is not rosy. Upon bootup the BIOS, just prior to
performing the final stage of the POST complains that:

Configuration error for slot 5
Invalid EISA Configuration Information - Please Run the Configuration Utility

If I ignore that and start NetBSD 1.5 (i386) (NetBSD supports the DE205
on the standard install disks - quite a bonus for doing network installs :)
it probes around and finds '@@@0000', although it complains later:

dpt0 at pci0 dev 7 function 0: pci_intr_map: no mapping for pin A
can't map interrupt
eisa0 at pceb0
device @@@0000 at eisa0 slot 1 not configured
eisa0 can't map I/O space for slot 8

Are there any thoughts for getting the card to work?

Thanks.
