Guys, this is upon boot up. It goes through the regular boot up process,
but when it gets to root filesystem it says *contains a file system with
errors, check forced. It it goes through that and says UNEXPECTED
INCONSISTENCY, RUN fsck MANUALLY
                                            (i.e., without -a or -p options)

FAILED
An error occurred during the file system check
Dropping you to a shell; the system will reboot
when you leave the shell
Give root password for maintencance

So I gave the root password and typed 'fschk' and got this error--

 Parallelizing fsck version 1.19
