Cool.  Thanks for the link.  My google searching mostly turned up old, 2.2  
and 2.4.0-test? kernel stuff, and discouraging stuff.  It should be fairly 
easy, load a module, plug in the speakers, cat something to /dev/dsp1 or 
whatever.  We'll see.  Some place was advertising $1.99 speakers!  Why not 
give it a try, that's what I say . . .
