USB Speakers, anyone?

Good Evenin' Everyone,

Has anyone used USB speakers?  I'm thinking of building a new PC and I 
thought it might be fun to try some USB speakers.  I have heard that the 
sound is a bit better, since the D-A conversion takes place outside of the 
PC.  The audio module is compiled and loads properly, but ...
