With properly configured mail systems other list subscribers will never
know when someone closes their account without unsubscribing. Bounces are
supposed to go to the envelope sender addresses which points back at the
mailing list software which automatically handles unsubscribing people who
bounce for very long.
I really prefer not to be bothered by people who are about to have their
accounts closed. Just let it bounce and it will be removed automatically.
