Have you ever read the shrinkwrap license for Windows? I can't remember
if I read this in all that microscopic lawyer-speak, or if I heard this
during lunch at Direct Access, but... it's my understanding that an OEM
Windows license (I *do* still have one for Windws 3.11, somewhere...) is
only good for the computer you got it on. IOW, Microsoft says you can't
buy a computer with Windows, then buy another computer and legally use
that license on the new one, even if you stop using the old one
entirely!
