Netscape problems

I am currently using Redhat 6.1

I just installed Netscape 4.72 and have come across two problems in my
Netscape messenger user account.

First problem:
Subscribed Newsgroups are not retained between Netscape Messenger sessions.
I go into Netscape Messenger and I subscribe to a newsgroup and then leave
Messenger.  When I come back to a new Netscape Messenger session none of the
subscribed newsgroups are retained.
Could this be due to some permissions problem in my user account?

Second problem:
I can print without problem from all applications except Netscape.  The
problem in Netscape is that I have to go to the printer and do a manual form
feed for each Netscape page to be printed.  Print jobs from Netscape are
somehow losing or not getting the form feed characters. All other
applications have the form feed.

Any ideas on how to fix these problems are welcome.
