hi there,

i am temporarily in the situation of needing to use a modem
to connect my machine at home to the net.
(i will move in a few weeks, then i can get cable or dsl again)

now i would like to borrow (or buy cheaply) a modem to cover the time
in between...

i am sure some of you who switched to cable/dsl still have their modem
around, and wouldn't mind for it to serve a usefull purpose for a while

greetings, martin.
ps: i am thinking about also connecting a modem to my box at work,
so i can dial in there, because i am sure the 33kbits to my office
are much better than 50+kbit to any of those free providers
