You will get no argument from me. I chose to abandon the Christianity of
my youth shortly after reading the Bible from cover to cover as a young
adult. When people ask me why I am not a Christian I explain that while
I find the teachings of Jesus, insofar as they can be deduced from the
current Bible, as valuable in a general sort of way I refuse to worship
or even acknowledge a God who behaves worse than an inconsiderate house
guest.

If the propaganda is to believed that I have free will I choose to
exercise it not to play the game of choosing between the Christian God
OR the Christian Devil. Sometimes the only way to win is to not play the
game.

I prefer the Taoist Philosophy which says the world is a pretty nice
place. It is people and their insistence they have the inside path to
the TRUTH as represented by their limited understanding of the cosmos
through Christianity and other divisive religions that screw up life on
this planet.
