Ok, now you are just making crap up.
I haven't been a smoker for _years_, yet being surrounded by smokers has
yet to make me cough up a lung. Hell, it has yet to even make me get a
tickle in my throat.

Actually, the mulch plant downvalley from me is.
Quite frankly, sometimes(in the summer, natch, I'm not using the patio
now the rains have come) I can't sit on my patio and eat because of the
stench. I'd imagine for someone with allergies/asthma, it would be quite
a bit worse.
Would I expect them to stop? No, because I knew it was there when I
moved in.
Similarly, if a person with breathing trouble walks into a smoke-filled
bar, and doesn't immediately turn and walk out, well then, they get what
they deserve.

As opposed to sanctimonious asses who think they have a right to tell
people they can no longer enjoy a legal habit?
What's next, Gabe? You're allergic to peanuts, so Denny's can no longer
have Reese's sundaes? Strawberries make you vomit uncontrollably, so no
more strawberry shortcake?
If you are allergic to seafood, don't go into a Sushi joint, if you are
allergic to smoke, don't go into a juke joint. Drink at home, it's
cheaper anyway.
It's really that simple.

Does anyone know if there has been a serious challenge to these laws in
any of the states that have them?
