Dimebag Darrell was a most gifted guitarist.  Though some
may not enjoy the style of music he played, he is well
established in that upper echleon.  Much of what he did
was pure genius, at least in a musical sense.

Dimebag and his brother are best known for their work
in Pantera, a heavy metal band during the early to
mid 90s.

He was my favorite guitarist in general.  He had one of
the most distinctive sounds and styles.  And, in my
opinion, probably the most talented improvisor of all
of todays guitarists.

It's a sad day.
