Not at all.  People call me cheap.  I'm not- I just never buy anything I 
don't need.  I neve really understood why others do.  When I do need 
something, I don't cheap out on quality.

Although 40% is impressive-  I thought I was doing well at about 33%.  Of 
course "household income" means there might be 2 wage earners- that can make 
up the difference in rent.
