I think the difference is that, even if any of us annoys the hell out of
anyone else... we still realize that we all have something to say, and will
put up with a few annoyances to hear other's opinions, rather then devolve
into a boring list.

I have a feeling the person you replied about was either the moderator himself
(using another address for some reason) or a buddy of his.. and he took it
personally.

I also hate posts full of l33t sp34k too... annoying.
