Presented by KarlC

Bacula is a client-server-based backup solution that can be used to back up and restore client machines running Linux, Solaris, FreeBSD, Windows, Mac OS X, OpenBSD, Irix, Tru64, AIX, etc. It can back up to tape, hard disk, CD, or DVD. Bacula can use mySQL, SQLite, or PostgreSQL to store backup catalogs. It can be restore anything from a single file to an entire machine from bare metal. Bootable Rescue CDROMs can be built for client machines, which will restore from bare metal, including partitioning and formatting the hard disks and restoring files. The home page can be found at http://www.bacula.org

I plan to give a demonstration of configuration and backing up several machines, both Linux and Windows, and do a restore.
